SEFA Dinner Reception at analyticaChina

New SEFA Standards

Congratulations to the SEFA 12 Committee, Co-Chaired by Edward Metzger (BioFit Engineered Products) and Kai Schuler of (BIMOS Division of Interstuhl Büromöbel GmbH & Co. KG), on the unanimous approval of the update to the SEFA Lab Grade Seating Standard.  The Standard was initially published in 2022 and this new updated version, SEFA 12-2024, includes a section on ESD Seating.  The Committee continues to expand the scope of the document, with the next version focused on cleanroom seating.   Download a complimentary copy of the updated SEFA 12 document through the link below.

Congratulations to the members of the Vertical Exhausting Laminar Flow Committee (V-ELF) on the unanimous approval of their Standard.  The Committee Co-Chairs,  Pete Daniele (LM Air Technologies) and Ken Dixon (Air Control) worked closely with Paul Lemestre, PE, LEED AP (Cleanroom Engineering Design) to finalize this important standard.  Download a copy though the link below

FIND SEFA COMPLIANT PRODUCTS

Nearly ten years ago SEFA's Membership voted unanimously in favor of an amendment to the SEFA By-Laws requiring all manufacturing members of the association and those wishing to become members, to submit a certified test report from a SEFA-approved test lab, establishing that they manufacture at least one "laboratory grade" product the complies with a SEFA Standard.  SEFA maintains  lists for each of the Standards which contain the name of the company along with the model name and/or number for the product(s) successfully tested.
